Easter Have-A-Goes

Unfortunately, the Easter Have-A-Goes have had to be cancelled due to snow fall. We will be re-organising our Have-A-Goes for the May bank holiday weekends.

All the 2008 Beginners Courses are now FULLY BOOKED.

Bit of a Deer Doo!

Emily Orford, Lyme Parks Head Warden has successfully completed a 200 mile walk to raise money for the restoration of 17th-century landscape ponds by the Lime Avenue.

These ponds are a firm favorite of the Great Crested Newt and so Emily and the Bowmen of Lyme would appreciate any donations, large or small that you may be able to make.

Club Notices

May Bank Holiday Have-A-Goes

Due to the unforseen cancellation of the Easter Have-A-Goes, we will be holding two Have-A-Goes in May. One on Sunday May 4th (1pm-4pm) and one on Sunday May 25th (1pm-4pm). These will take place after our normal mornings shoot (although it will have to be a short round) and the club needs every members support for these events.

2008/2009 Membership Fees are now due.

Just a gentle reminder to let you know that it is time to renew your membership with the club.

Our constitution states (2.11.1) that members should not shoot at the club when their fees remain unpaid so to ensure that you are not subjected to any unnecessary breaks in your shooting, I would be grateful if you would bring your subs with you next time you come up to shoot. Alternatively, post them to my home address.
